The development of the newest generation of crewed American spacecraft
owes much to the original work to develop the Apollo spacecraft a half
century ago. Today's post on Drew Ex Machina tells the story of the
third orbital test flight of Apollo hardware, the A-103 mission, which
was launched 50 years ago today along with the Pegasus 1 satellite - the
first scientific satellite launched by the Saturn I.
