Good point, Chris. I'm presuming the TsUP EVA working group will pull out and dust off the manual array unlatching procedures. I can't see the gimpy Soyuz getting cleared for a full duration expedition, and failure to unlatch could ripple down the flight schedule right into the laps of the 12-month crew next year.

Thank-you Robert and Anatoly and Geert.  I had missed that view.  I 
wonder if they'll continue efforts to deploy the panel, either from 
inside (banging?  doesn't sound hopeful) or via EVA (would using the 
orbital module of the Soyuz as an airlock be a good option?).
