The first Orion test flight, EFT-1, has successfully completed a dress
rehearsal for its launch less than four weeks away. Am I the only person
to see the irony that the first test flight of the Orion (which is
attempting to rebuild a capability we abandoned four decades ago in
favor of the Space Shuttle) is being launched from the same launch
complex (SLC-37) used for the first Apollo orbital test flights a half a
century ago?
