Progress cargo ship launched to ISS

KOROLYOV, Russia (Interfax) - A Soyuz-U rocket carrying a Progress M1-3
cargo ship was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan for the
International Space Station (ISS) at 2:27 PM EDT (1827 GMT), Russia's
Aerospace Agency has told Interfax.
The "truck" was lifted into space by the Soyuz-U in accordance with launch
calculations done by the agency.
This is the first unmanned cargo flight to the ISS. Mission Control in the
town of Korolyov outside Moscow has been instructed to control the flight
and Progress' docking maneuvers with the first ISS elements already in
orbit.
